CURLY TYPE 2: WAVY

You  have discovered that you have curl type 2! This curl type can be recognized by waves in the hair or S-shaped curls. The curls are fairly loose and large and are 'S' shaped. The types can be further divided into A, B and C.

Type 2A - slightly wavy hair

People with this curl type often think they have straight hair, until they try the CG method and start using products for curly hair. This curl type has a slight wave, but it is also quite easy to straighten. This hair has a fine and loosely tousled texture. The hair is almost straight but still has a slightly wavy structure.

Type 2B – wavy

Type 2B is already a bit more wavy than type 2A. However, the hair still falls quite straight from the roots and the wave starts from the mid-lengths to the ends of the hair. This curl type therefore has a coarse wave and has a tendency to become frizzy if nothing is done with it.

Type 2C – 'S' shaped

Type 2C often starts curling from the roots with a strong wave. It is a well-defined S-shaped curl. Some strands can be a bit straighter, such as the underlayer, but there can also be a number of very curly 3A curls in between.
