Tip: Using only our Amazing Curls products can lead to brittle and dry hair, due to too much moisture. Regularly add these drops to your All-in-One Treatment, Styling Cream and/or Styling Gel.

NOTE: The smell you smell is the natural smell of the Proteins. This smell will be less if you leave it for a day without the cap on. Also if you mix it with other products the smell will disappear.

Gebruik

The number of drops you can add to your product depends on several factors:

-The length of your curls
- The thickness of your hair
- The porosity / elasticity of your curls
- The type of product you want to add the drops to

We recommend adding at least 5-10 drops per side/section to your styling product(s). If your hair is longer and thicker, use more drops.

If your hair feels coarse or rough after applying the drops, you probably used too much or your hair is not accepting the protein at that time.

When using a mask, we recommend adding at least 15 drops, depending on the length of your hair and the amount of product you use.

You can also use the drops for a refresh. If you have sagging curls after a few days or if your hair looks dry, spray your hair damp or wet, take a little gel or cream in your palm and add a few protein drops. Rub your hands well together to mix it well.

If you prefer not to add product to your hair, you can also apply a few drops directly to your hands and then apply to damp hair to restore shine and bounce to your curls."

Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein: This is a hydrolyzed form of wheat protein, meaning the protein has been broken down into smaller fragments. It is easily absorbed by the hair and helps strengthen and repair damaged hair, while also improving elasticity.

Hydrolyzed Soy Protein:This is a hydrolyzed form of soy protein, which is rich in amino acids. It helps hydrate and soften hair, while also improving texture and shine.

Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch:This is a hydrolyzed form of wheat starch, which helps improve texture and define curls, while also helping to reduce frizz.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E):This is a powerful antioxidant that protects hair from external aggressors such as UV rays and pollution. It also helps hydrate and strengthen hair.

Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower Oil): Rich in fatty acids, this oil deeply nourishes the hair while also soothing and hydrating the scalp.

Phenoxyethanol and Potassium Sorbate: These are natural preservatives that ensure the stability of the product and extend its shelf life, without affecting the effectiveness of the ingredients.

The Story Behind the Protein Drops

This was our very first product, launched in2021, and we are still very proud of it! The idea came from a well-knownfrustrationof every curly head: which product should I take with protein, which not, and which protein should you actually have? So we thought: how handy would it be if you could just make that protein yourselfaddto your favorite products?

And that's how our Protein Drops came into being. With a few drops, you can transform your protein-free mask, leave-in or styling product into a protein bomb. Not only handy, but alsocost saving. The formula is powerful, yet gentle enough for all hair types. Whether you need a few drops or a bit more, you decide what your hair needs!

We were thetrendsetter(yes, really!) and we even inspired other brands. The latter was perhaps a bit of a shame, because we are the underdog in the world of curls. But hey, hopefully you choose the original and not the copycat!

Hoe lang kun je doen met een airless verpakking?

Een hele pomp van de 200 ml bevat 1,5 ml. Er zitten 133 hele pompjes in de fles. Als je b.v. 4 hele pompjes per week gebruikt kun je er 33 weken mee doen.

Een hele pomp van de 50 ml bevat 0,8 ml per pomp. Wanneer je hier b.v. 4 pompjes per week van gebruikt kun je er 12,5 weken mee doen.
Zijn jullie producten geschikt voor mijn krullen?

We hebben de producten getest op diverse haartypes en we hebben pas akkoord gegeven toen iedereen blij werd van de producten.

Dit is natuurlijk geen garantie dat jouw krullen er blij van worden, maar als je gaat voor kwaliteit in plaats van kwantiteit dan is het zeker de moeite waard. Hou er rekening mee dat je krullen soms even moeten wennen als je hiervoor minder goede producten voor je haren hebt gebruikt.
Wat voor geur hebben jullie producten?

Onze 4 moisture producten in Airless flessen hebben de geur van groene appeltjes.

Tevens hebben wij gekozen voor een non-sensite parfum die bij 99% van de mensen geen of weinig irritatie zal opeveren.

De Proteine Druppels ruiken naar de natuurlijke geur van proteines.

De Super Sealing Oil heeft bijna geen geur omdat hier geen parfum aan toegevoegd is.

Super!!

I read the description and also read that if it stinks you can leave the bottle open for a certain time. I thought... Yes, how bad can it stink?? But it smelled quite bad and I left the bottle open and I use a few drops in my mask and then a few drops in my leave-in conditioner. About 3-4 drops. My hair shines and feels very smooth. Great!! Recommended

Thank you for your positive review! Yes, the smell is strong because of the Wheat Protein present. It is in a high concentration but it is getting less because they just came from the manufacturer. The most important thing is that it does what it should do and that you are satisfied :).

Protein drops

My hair needs very little protein. I add the protein drops as needed and are therefore ideal. I notice a clear difference when I have used them. My hair feels stronger and the curl has more definition.

No curl without protein drops

Styling my hair without these protein drops is not done.
My hair looks really good on it and the curls last longer and look better.
I mix a few drops into the all-in-one styling cream.

Super handy!

I prefer to use products without protein, so the products from CG Curls are perfect for my hair, but sometimes it is necessary to use some protein. How convenient is it that you can just add the drops and do not have to buy a separate product. Really a unique product!

Fine products

Very nice product. I am still trying to figure out what works best for my hair in terms of the number of drops. But I am already happy with the result. I have thin curly hair, so the drops are much more pleasant for me so that you can find out for yourself how much is best.
